Rana Daggubati is currently prepping up for the release of his upcoming film Aranya. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, this trilingual film will hit the screens on the 2nd of April. On the flip side, Rana is also working on another film called Virata Parvam which is being directed by Venu Udugula. Mahanti fame Daniel Sanchez Lopez is handling the cinematography of this film. The other day, Dany took a picture with the standee of Aranya and wished Rana all the luck for the film. Rana thanked him for the same. Rana will resume the shooting of Virata Parvam from today.
Yesterday, Dani tweeted, "All the best for @RanaDaggubati in #aranya #hathimeresathi." Immediately, Rana replied, "Thank you Dani!! See you tomorrow:)" The shoot of Virata Parvam is currently happening in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in it. Seasoned actors Nandita Das and Zarina Wahab are essaying the other pivotal roles in the film.
Virata Parvam is a period drama that is set in the Naxalism backdrop during the early 90s. The makers are promising it to be an intense thriller. Venu Udugula, who got acclaim for his first film Needi Nadi Oke Katha, is trying to prove his mettle once again with this movie. Virata Parvam is being produced jointly by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri.
Rana is also busy with the promotions of his new movie Aranya, where he plays an elephant's care-taker. Prabhu Solomon is the director of the movie.
