After enthralling viewers and dominating the box office, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra' is finally getting an OTT release. According to the latest sources, the Ayan Mukerji-directed film will release on a major OTT platform on November 4th. The fantasy film will premiere at 12 a.m. on Disney+ Hotstar.
The wonderful news comes after the makers reduced ticket rates to roughly Rs 100 to ensure that many more moviegoers get the opportunity to see the breathtaking VFX on the big screen. Much like Aamir Khan's 'Lal Singh Chaddha,' which gained a large audience when it was put on Netflix, 'Brahmastra' is expected to entice fans when it becomes accessible for streaming.
The first installment in the three-part Astraverse film series will be released in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. An official declaration on the subject is planned in the coming weeks.
Despite encountering numerous challenges before its release, 'Brahmastra' became the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2022. The film, which marked Ranbir and Alia's debut on-screen collaboration, grossed an estimated Rs 430 crore at the global box office.
