Ranveer Singh gives a nostalgic glimpse into his new movie '83 by Recreating an Iconic moment in Indian History

As Ranveer Singh prepares himself for his movie '83 he leaves no chance to excite his fans. Recently the Padmaavat actor uploaded a new still. It shows Singh as Kapil Dev at the 1983 World Cup. The actor is holding up the world cup trophy similar to Dev. He captioned it "This is '83." Singh's role in this sports movie has got his fans talking only about how great he is. This sent the fans of cricket along with those of Bollywood down a memory lane. They dug up old photos of Dev at the World tournament. Singh gave an opportunity to his fans to re-live the moment again.

Singh presents a compelling resemblance to Dev. He led India to victory on June 25, 1983. BCCI last year also tweeted in its memory saying, "On this day in 1983 - India won the World Cup and held the trophy high at Lord's - Memories to last a lifetime". To Singh, excited fans wrote comments like, "Spectacular! "What an iconic moment this is, Baba...83 is going to be a milestone in your career." while someone else wrote "This man can do anything, can play any role." Singh's versatility is known by every Bollywood fan. This only proves it true. From movies like Band Baaja Baaraat to Dil Dhadakne Do to Gully Boy to this. Singh is taking over Bollywood by storm.

The movie will also include a cameo by none other than Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia, Deb's wife. The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu and Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The film will release in April. The film has already had a good enough start! So let's see!
