Baiju Bawra is a 1952 film by Vijay Bhatt. It stars Meena Kumari, Bharat Bhushan, Kuldip Kaur. Baiju Bawra was a famous 15-century music composer who is famous for Dhrupad singing.
Bhansali now wants to make a remake of this film starring Singh and Alia Bhatt. The script and the music for the film are ready. The film is set to release on Diwali 2021. This will be the fourth collaboration between Singh and Bhansali. They have done Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat together.
