'83 is the story of the Indian cricket team winning the World Cup for the first time in 1983. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev in the film who was the then captain of the Indian cricket team. The film already has a huge fan following as cricket fans across the country got excited.
Ranveer shared the poster on Twitter with a caption, "It’s coming @83thefilm". Kabir Khan directed this film. Ranveer had earlier shared a picture of himself in full makeup to him look like the veteran cricketer. His transformation received great praise too.
'83 also stars Deepika Padukone who will be playing the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi Deb. The film is set to release all across the country on April 10.
