The Filmfare Awards 2020 was a star-studded affair with all the celebrities decked in their best outfits. This year's award night held in Guwahati, Assam. Some of the celebrities who won big at the award night were Gully Boy's stars, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Ranveer won the award for the Best Actor in a leading role for his extraordinary performance in Gully Boy.
As soon as Ranveer shared the picture of himself with the trophy on his social media handle, comments started pouring in. Some of his Bollywood friends like Katrina Kaif and Ayushmann Khurrana wished him for his achievement. Katrina posted a star emoticon and Ayushmann called him a king. Ranveer's Simmba director Rohit Shetty too posted some appreciation emoticons on the post. Others who commented were Kabir Khan, Hardy Sandhu, Vikrant Massey, Tanmay Bhatt, etc.
The Gully Boy actor look absolutely dapper in his outfit. He did not go overboard with his attire choice this time. Ranveer wore a black tuxedo with elaborated shoulders. He opted for a mild beard and mustache look and a cleanly set hairdo. About the other big winners of the night, Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress in a leading role for Gully Boy. Gully Boy also won the Best Film Award at the Filmfare 2020 swooping in the big victory. Ananya Pandey won the award for Best Debutant for her film Student of the Year 2.
