With each passing day, KGF: Chapter 2 is getting bigger and bigger. Already, Bollywood star actor Sanjay Dutt got roped in as the main villain in it. A few days back, Telugu actor Rao Ramesh has also joined the sets. The latest entrant of the cast is yesteryear diva actress, Raveena Tandon.
This Bollywood heroine is playing a crucial role in the film. This is her comeback film in Kannada after a gap of almost 20 years. Her last Kannada film was Upendra, starring Upendra in the lead role. Speaking about her role in the film, Raveena said that this offer came to her way before she watched KGF Chapter:1. When she finally watched it, she was very much impressed with the new age approach of director Prasanth Neel.
But Raveena wanted to know her role and the entire storyline before signing the film. When Prasanth narrated the script, she immediately accepted the film. Raveena is currently shooting for the film in Mysore and will also take part in the next schedule that happens in Hyderabad. Starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, KGF: Chapter 2 will hit the screens in the second half of this year.
