Actor Ravi Krishna is only a few films old in the industry, but still remains a known face. The actor made his debut in Selvaraghavan's 7G Rainbow Colony and garnered a lot of appreciation for his role. He also went on to star in critically acclaimed film Aaranya Kaandam, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja.
In a recent interview to an entertainment portal, Ravi Krishna revealed that 7G Selvaraghavan was planned with Suriya or Madhavan. He said, "My father (producer A.M. Rathnam) suggested the one-liner of the film to me. Even I suggested Siddharth's name for the lead character. But my father suggested my name when Selvaraghavan sir insisted on casting a new face."
Ravi Krishna also disclosed a multi-starrer with Suriya, Jayam Ravi, Simbu, Dhanush, and Genelia Deshmukh. "A few months after 7G Rainbow Colony's release, we had planned to shoot another project titled 'Pudhupettai'. The script was different (from the 2006 film directed by Selvaraghavan) and the project had supposed to star Suriya, Jayam Ravi, STR, Dhanush, Genelia and myself, but the project didn't pan out. Even if Selvaraghavan does that film right now, it will be extraordinary," he said.
