Director Gopichand Malineni directed Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's 'Don Seenu' movie and showcased the latter in a completely different avatar on the screen.

Later, the combo repeated with 'Balupu' movie which also became a decent hit at the box office. Now, Ravi Teja is all set to collaborate with the Gopichand Malineni again, and rumors are rife that the movie is going to be the official Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film 'Theri' starring Vijay. But, recently, the director has clarified these rumors. He stated that their third outing together is not going to be a remake but is basing on some real-life incidents that took place in the Telugu States. It seems like Raviteja is going to play the role of a powerful police officer in this movie.
The makers have already revealed that Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in this movie. After wrapping up 'Disco Raja' movie under the direction of VI Anand, Ravi Teja will take this film onto the sets.
Samudrakhani, the prominent actor of the Kollywood movie industry is also playing a crucial role in the movie and the announcement on his inclusion came out today.
