Recent rains damage the set worth Rs. 2 crores which got erected for Pawan Kalyan-Krish's film

The coronavirus pandemic has affected the Telugu film industry severely. There were no shoots for almost three months. Finally, the Government of Telangana permitted the resumption of film shoots. Many movies which were under production have started the works. The team of Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film with director Krish was also decked up for the shoot. However, nature played a spoil-sport this time. Due to the heavy rains in the last few days, the set erected for this film at Ramoji Film City got completely damaged. We hear that the set was worth Rs. 2 crores.

According to the sources, this set got erected earlier this year. The makers have also shot a few scenes in the location. For those who are unaware, this film is going to be a period action drama that is set in the Mughal era. The team has erected the set resembling the cities of those times. When they were all set to resume the shoot, the rain spoiled all the plans. We hear that the set got completely damaged and nothing can get filmed there. If there is any insurance for it, the producers will be on a safe side. Otherwise, it will be a huge loss of Rs. 2 crores.

This movie is being bankrolled by AM Rathnam. It seems that the makers are considering to title the film as Virupakasha. Bollywood actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal may play the key roles in it.
