Redrum teaser: Ashok Selvan film is an excellent horror thriller

Actor Ashok Selvan proved himself as a worthy actor when he starred as one of the leads in Nalan Kumarasamy's Soodhu Kavvum. Later, he turned solo with Thegidi which established himself as a bankable star. The film released in 2014 and it is safe to say that it was his last successful film.

Even though Ashok did nearly 10 films after Thegidi, they never did well at the box office. Now, the actor is back with another film titled Redrum. The makers of Redrum released the film's teaser on social media today.

Looking at the one-minute-long teaser, Redrum is a horror-thriller that has an interesting premise. In the film, Ashok Selvan seems to suffer from auditory hallucination which means he can hear voices and whatever he hears happens in real life too.

But, no one surrounding him realizes it. Meanwhile, we see visuals of horror elements where we can see heroine Samyukta got pulled by an unknown person just like how ghosts pull a person from the bed.
