Rejected by producer, Vamsy moves on to autobiography
Director Vamsy is regraded as a legend and holds a special place in the history of Telugu film industry. The director gave a whole new perspective to slapstick comedy in the form of April 1st Vidudala, Ladies Tailor and others.
However, his last couple of films have been disastrous at the box office because it was full of outdated and obsolete ideas. Even today, producers and distributors are suffering from the losses.
Considering his poor form, Vamsy somehow managed to convince an NRI to fund his film titled Whatsapp Vanaja Aunty. However, he backed out of the project wanting to save his investment.
This has pushed the filmmaker to join Swathi weekly where he will be penning his autobiography Polamarina Gnapakalu.
