A popular comedian of the Telugu cinema, Mylavarapu Surya Narayana better known as M.S.Narayana. He debuted in Mohan Babu’s M Dharmaraju MA (1994). Director Ravi Raju Pinisetty was looking for an actor who had a Dosakai Mokham and his assistant suggested they pick MS Narayana, who was working as a writer.
MS Narayana played drunk roles in close to 300 of the 750 odd films he has acted in. His iconic nasal voice was a consequence of a deviated septum which, MS believed, contributed immensely to the innocence in all the drunk roles he played.
MS Narayana output has always significantly risen and this made him one of the biggest comedy stars of the decade. He would effortlessly act in any given role and at a certain point of time, directors demanded his presence in movies.
