As the film was successful in hitting the right nerve of the audiences, its makers had decided to make the second part of the film.
However, no official confirmation yet passed by them. Even though Kareena Kapoor Khan had confirmed to Pinkvilla that the sequel of the film is on board, its producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor had maintained silence on it. "Well, I think she is planning it. We are all super excited because part one was amazing. Both Rhea and Sonam are fantastic and I love working with them, " said Kareena.
But finally, Rhea Kapoor has opened up about the same and may have confirmed it too. During a session of "Ask me anything" on Instagram, a fan asked Rhea it the sequel of Veere Di Wedding will happen. To this, she answered, "I think it's gonna happen actually. It might happen sooner than I thought it would happen. But things look good. I am excited."
