Bollywood actress Richa Chadha gave a striking performance in her recent film Panga. Currently, the actress is busy with films like Shakeela, Madam Chief Minister and the web series Inside Edge Season 3. Richa says that she is a book lover but after coming to Bombay, her love for books faded away a bit.

 
Speaking in a recent interview, Richa said that during her teenage age, she used to read books in the bathroom as her mother would only allow her to read academic textbooks. Salman Rushdie used to be her favorite author. After coming to Mumbai, Richa lost the habit of reading books. She is planning to get back to it now. The actress says that she is quite interested in political non-fiction now.
 
Richa also added that she is in fact writing a book now. This book will be about how it is to be an outsider in Bollywood. Richa explores how outsiders struggle to work in films amidst of all the nepotism culture. She says that the struggle will not end with the first movie offer and it will continue forever. The actress, who is also a social activist, said that she will cater more time on animal and environmental conservation from now on.
