Indian Cinema has lost another gem of an actor the other day. Popular actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away yesterday in Mumbai. He was suffering from leukemia from the last couple of years. The news came in as a shocker for the entire film industry. Everyone started pouring out messages and condolences after they came to know about it. Meanwhile, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor didn't even get a chance to attend his funeral due to the ongoing lockdown. She is now traveling from Delhi to Mumbai by road, to see her mother and be with her family in these tough times.
As soon as the news broke out, Riddhima shared an emotional post on Instagram. She posted a picture of Rishi Kapoor and wrote, "Papa, I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you every day I will miss your FaceTime calls every day! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever."
She is also posting stories regularly as she is missing her father so much. "Wish I could be there to say goodbye to you, Papa," wrote Riddhima. "I miss you already. Come back na Papa," she added.
Refuting the rumors that said she is flying from Delhi to Mumbai, Riddhima wrote, "Driving Home Ma. Enroute Mumbai." The government has issued a special pass to Riddhima to travel to Mumbai.
The funeral of Rishi Kapoor got held last night in Chandanwadi crematorium. Only a few family members and friends have attended these last rites.
