Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani's Release Date Gets Delayed; Karan Johar Announces A New Time

The release of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has been delayed by exactly three months. The release date for the Karan Johar-directed film had previously been set for April 28, 2023. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani's actors and crew did, however, announce the movie's new release date on Instagram on Thursday, which is July 28, 2023. Originally, the movie was slated to hit theatres in February 2023.

The new release date for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was announced via Instagram posts from both Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani... releasing July 28, 2023. See you at the movie," stated Alia in her caption. "Kyunki (because) it's all about loving your family," Ranveer wrote in the description of the reveal. They distributed a poster of the movie's name with the message "save the date." Many celebrities, such as the on-screen Janhvi Kapoor and the director Zoya Akhtar, posted comments on their posting. Many fans said things like "can't wait" and "excited." After directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016 with Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar is back with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also has legendary actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in significant parts in addition to Ranveer and Alia. It is Karan's first time directing Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. According to reports, Shabana would portray Alia's grandmother. Jaya will appear as Ranveer's grandmother. In a lengthy Instagram post from the previous year, Karan revealed the release date for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He said, "After 7 years, it's time for me to return to my first home - the cinemas. I had the absolute honour of working with not one, but many illustrious actors on the set of my film.
