Roohi Afza movie goes through yet another title change
Dinesh Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Roohi Afza’ to go through another title change. The film featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma will be releasing in April 2020.
The upcoming film ‘Roohi Afza’ starring a new pair Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao was hyped up due to the number of changes its been through. This film was earlier titled as ‘Rooh Afza’, but had to change it due to few oppositions regarding its title. The movie had to go through a change in the release date as well. It was originally supposed to be out by the 20th of March this year, but it is now postponed to 17th April, 2020.
As of now, the old release date has many other exciting films which will hit the screens. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Irrfan Khan’s ‘Angrezi Medium’; Mimi, featuring Kriti Sanon; and Shiddat, starring Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Manan will all be released on 20th March 2020. It sounds like a nice clash to avoid but by postponing, the film has put its audience in the backseat. Regardless, the movie will be undergoing yet another change, and this is another huge one.
Maddock Films, the production banner for the film has released a new video to reveal the new title for the film. The film is now titled ‘Roohi Afzana’.The video also gives a glance at the first look of the film. The leading pair, third wheeled by Varun Sharma, are on a scooter while looking terrified.
Rajkummar Rao will feature in Anurag Basu’s next film ‘Ludo’. Meanwhile Janhvi Kapoor is tied up with shooting for her next alongside Kartik Aaryan and Lakshya, Dostana 2.
