Sai Pallavi Senthamarai has become the lead heroine of the contemporary south cinema. She has become a south sensation with Premam and her debut into Telugu with Fidaa has fueled her position and fame all the south industries. This beauty celebrates her birthday today.
Although she is a credible student with merit marks, she was always interested in arts since childhood. Though she was not a trained dancer, she always wanted to be like her mother in dancing. She participated in several cultural events at school, gaining popularity as a dancer. Due to her penchant for dance, supported by her mother, she participated in the dance reality show Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva on Vijay TV in 2008 and appeared on Dhee Ultimate Dance Show (D4) on ETV Telugu in 2009. In 2014, while she was studying in Tbilisi, Georgia, film-director Alphonse Putharen offered her the role of Malar in his film Premam. She shot the film over the holidays and, after the shooting finished, returned to her studies. In late 2015, she took a month break from her studies to act in her second movie, Kali, which released in March 2016. 2017 marked her debut in Telugu with Sekhar Kammula's Fidaa and there's no looking back since then.
Sai Pallavi declined an Rs.2 crore worth advertisement-contract for a skin lightening cream saying it wasn't something she believed in. In 2020, she was recognized by Forbes magazine as India's 30 under 30. She was the only person from the film industry in that list.
We wish Sai Pallavi a happy birthday.
