After Sidhu Moose Wala's death in June, Salman Khan got a threat letter, which has made headlines ever since. Actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan were allegedly sent an unsigned letter with the threat "you will end up like Moose Wala" (tumhara Moose Wala kar denge). The note was reportedly found by Salim Khan's security team outside the actor's Mumbai residence close to the Bandra Bandstand promenade where Salim Khan sometimes rests after his daily exercise, according to the sources. According to reports, the letter was signed by two people identified only by their initials G.B. and L.B., which are being read as Lawrence Bishnoi with his Canadian assistant Goldy Brar.
Salman's security was boosted following the event. The Dabangg star was recently spotted visiting Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar at the city's police headquarters. News18 reports that Salman has now formally requested a firearm license from Mumbai Police in order to protect himself from assassination threats. There, he reportedly also met Vishwas Nangre Patil, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order). Salman may also be seen leaving the office and getting into his car in a video that ANI shared.
In the meanwhile, Salman's most recent acting appearance was in Antim: The Final Truth alongside Jisshu Sengupta, Aayush Sharma, and Mahima Makwana. This movie is a remake of the Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern. Salman Khan Films produced it, with Mahesh Manjrekar directing it.
In addition to this, the actor's upcoming film Tiger 3 will star Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It will be released on April 21, 2023, and Maneesh Sharma is rumored to have directed it. In addition, Salman has films like Ved, No Entry Mein Entry, Godfather, and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali on the line.
