Salman Khan Responds To His Controversial 'Double Standard' Remarks On Women's Clothing

Salman Khan has responded to the criticism he faced after Palak Tiwari claimed that he had a rule about how women should dress on the set of his movie, Antim: The Final Truth (2021). During an interview, Salman was called out by host Rajat Sharma for his alleged "double standard." The actor defended himself, stating that there is no double standard. He said that he believes women's bodies are more precious and should be covered. Salman added that the problem lies with men and the way they look at women.

Palak Tiwari had previously claimed that Salman wanted all the women on his film set to adhere to a specific dress code. She says that "all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls." However, she later clarified that her statement had been misunderstood and that she had only set guidelines for herself on how to dress around people she had grown up idolizing.

Salman also emphasized that when he makes films, he tries to ensure that such men should not be given the chance to "stare at the heroine" in an objectifying way. He believes that women should be more covered up to avoid this kind of behavior from men.

Salman's upcoming movie, Tiger 3, is an action thriller that stars Katrina Kaif, and it is set to release on Diwali 2023. Salman and Palak recently worked together in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was released recently.
