Salman Khan tries to expand his market in Kollywood

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his next film Dabangg 3. This is the third installment of his super hit cop franchise. Directed by Prabhu Deva, this action drama is all set to hit the screens this Friday. It will also have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. Interesting thing is that Salman has dubbed his own voice in Tamil.

The Wanted actor was in Chennai the other day to promote the Tamil version of the film. Speaking at the event, Salman said that he always shared a special bonding with Chennai. His film Wanted got filmed here for more than a month. He also stated that he also loves the place Fisherman's Cove in the city. Salman also said that he has done his share of South remakes like Wanted, Tere Naam and Kick.
"Tamil Nadu has always accepted the films with action, drama, and entertainment. In the North, we have accepted Rajini sir and Kamal sir with open arms. Hope you guys accept us as well," said Salman. He also added that he respects Prabhu Deva more as a person than a director. Actors Sudeep, Sayee Manjrekar and Prabhu Deva were present at the event.
