Samantha Akkineni made her on-screen debut with the 2010 film Ye Maya Chesave. Right after that, she bagged the chance of acting alongside NTR in Brundavanam, in the same year. Then, there was no looking back for the actress. In the subsequent years, Samantha acted in many super hit films like Dookudu, Eega, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Athrintiki Daaredi, Manam, Kaththi, Theri, A.Aa, Janatha Garage, Rangasthalam, and Mahanati.
Last year was a golden year for Samantha as three of her releases in 2019 have turned out to be blockbusters. Those films were Majili, Super Deluxe, and Oh Baby. This year, Samantha came up with Jaanu which failed to perform well despite the critical acclaim. Samantha is also making her digital debut with season two of the web series The Family Man.
Samantha married actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in 2017, after dating him for over five years.
