Samantha is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in India in the current generation. The actress always manages to take everyone by storm in every role that she takes up. She recently impressed the audience with her performance in Yashoda. For the last several months, the actress has been surrounded by unending rumors.
Everyone thought that the rumors would end after Samantha herself announced that she has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Myositis. However, that has not been the case. For the past few days, it was being said that Samantha is set to go on a long sabbatical from work.
Samantha has now put an end to these rumors, by posting a picture on Instagram, where she can be seen dubbing for her upcoming film Shaakuntalam. Samantha chose an interesting caption for this post. She wrote, "Art is my cure to all this madness, sadness and loss of belonging in the world & through it I’ll walk myself home. – Nikki Rowe". This clearly indicates the actress's current state. Samantha has been undergoing treatment for her condition for the past several months and is not yet back to sets. The status of her pending and future projects is still unknown, but the actress is wrapping up her completed projects.
On the other hand, Shaakuntalam is directed by Gunasekhar, and features Malayalam actor Dev Mohan opposite Samantha, as King Dushyanth. Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha will be making her acting debut with the film, where she will be seen as Prince Bharata, the son of Shakuntala and Dushyant.
