Samantha's Shaakuntalam News Made Official

It's been public knowledge that the release of Samantha's upcoming film, Shaakuntalam, has been postponed. However, the news was not made official by the movie's team until today. Taking to social media, the team Shaakuntalam announced officially that the release date of the film has been pushed. Shaakuntalam was scheduled to be released on February 17th, but not anymore. The reasons for the film's postponement have not been made clear by the team, but it is being said that it is because of issues with the Hindi version release.

Shaakuntalam is being released in various languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film features Dev Mohan as King Dushyant, the husband of Shakuntala, played by Samantha. The film marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actor Dev Mohan. Shaakuntalam is an epic love saga, which is based on a famous play written by Telugu poet Kalidasa. Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha will be seen as Prince Bharata, the son of Shakuntala and Dushyant, in the movie. Gunasekhar is the director of this movie, and also the producer. Producer Dil Raju is presenting the movie under his SVC creations banner. Mani Sharma is the music director of the film, and a couple of songs from the film have already been released and gained a good response. The shooting of Shaakuntalam was wrapped up nearly two years ago, but couldn't be released because of extensive graphics work. There are good expectations for this film, which is made on a big budget. The film is expected to get a good opening.
