Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat won three National Film Award
Many movies won different awards on the 66th National Film Award event. The movie 'Padmavat' has won three National Film Awards. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor are the lead characters of this movie. The two National awards were given for the music.
The movie won the Best Music Director Award (Songs) for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Additionally, the Best Choreography (Kruti Mahesh Madya and Jyoti Tomar) also won the Best Playback Singer to Arijit Singh for ‘Binte Dil’.
Sanjay Leela remembered the protest during the movie shooting and said that he made 'Padmaavat' through so much chaos and trouble. It was the most difficult movie that he has ever made. There had been physical assault and dharna of the movie and every possible thing that could have gone wrong. But every time he felt low, he created a song and it was a nice outlet for him. Music was the positive way of looking at all the difficulties.
He also said that an artist has to go through some problems here and there in any creative sector. It was more than essential in his situation, but you still take a positive look at it. They came to the recording studio and shut down all the noise that came from the demonstrations and focused on music-making.
The filmmaker also said that any recognition, and particularly the public recognition, implies a lot. The jury of highly skilled and respected individuals chooses it. It prompts you to work harder. It's an emotional time on the back.
