Filmmaker Aanand L Rai recently made an announcement about his upcoming project. The film's title is ‘Atrangi Re’ and will fall into the comedy & entertainment genre. The film will be featuring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush. The director cleared rumors/predictions about the story by mentioning that it won't comprise a love triangle, unlike his last film ‘Zero’, another multi-starrer with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
Aanand L Rai also mentioned that the film will be rolling in the next month. He discussed that it was going to be a blend of two different cultures. The shooting Schedule begins in Bihar And Madurai for starters, requiring both Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush on set. Akshay Kumar will be joining later in the first schedule, in the middle of April. The film shooting schedule is to comprise of only 90 days. The crew expects to wrap the shooting up before the end of July.
The Director also discussed the importance of Akshay Kumar’s role in the narration of the film. He also mentioned how the film is going to mark his reunion with the music director A.R. Rahman, after Raanjhanaa. While the director is presently caught up with ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ promotions as a producer, he is all set to revive his fandom with up next. This film is set to hit the theaters for next year Valentine's Day.
