Superstar Mahesh Babu is on a roll as all his films since Bharat Ane Nenu are becoming box-office hits. After scoring a hit with Maharshi last year, Mahesh opened 2020 with another blockbuster with his new film Sarileru Neekevvaru. The film, which had released on the 11th of January, is having a dream run at the box-office.
We also hear that Mahesh has got a heavy paycheck as remuneration for this film. Mahesh produced this film, along with Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara. Instead of taking remuneration, the actor decided to take the non-theatrical rights of the film. According to the latest reports, Sarileru Neekevvaru got a total of Rs. 49 crores through non-theatrical rights (digital, dubbing and satellite rights). All this amount will now go into Mahesh's pockets as remuneration.
With this, he has become the highest-paid actor in the Telugu film industry. For Maharshi, he took about Rs. 20 crores as remuneration. In no less than a year, he got more than double the amount as remuneration. Definitely, Mahesh as set a new benchmark for all the star heroes in the industry.
