A first look poster of John Abraham's new film Satyameva Jayate earlier today. The actor can be seen tearing up the police uniform at his chest, revealing the Indian flag. The poster reads in bold letters, "Tann, Mann, Dhann se Bhadkar, Jann, Gann Mann."
The director of the film, Milap Zaveri while talking about the film said the film is twice the action and ever the more patriotic. A direct sequel to the first Satyameva Jayate film, John Abraham seems to be on another quest to eradicate corruption in the country's police force.
Joining Abraham as the main cast of the film, Divya Khosla Kumar is the female lead in the upcoming film.
If one were to assess the film on the success of other recent patriotic films like, Uri: The surgical strike. John Abraham's new film is on the right path to capture the audience's hearts with its patriotic themes.
The film is being produced by a collaboration between T-Series and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures and will hit cinemas around the country soon. It's due to release on the 2nd October, 2019.
