Actor Nandu played the lead role in the recently released 'Savaari' movie which finally got released on February 7th. Priyanka Sharma played the female lead in this film.
Short film director Saahith Mothkuri helmed this project. Despite having some negative aspects, the horse sentiment worked out really well for the movie and has been receiving decent response from the audience especially from B and C centres. The film has been raking good numbers in terms of collections. Even on the second day, the film has succeeded in maintaining a decent hold.
As per the latest reports, the film is much likely reached the break even point in just 2 days and the movie unit also confirmed the same. Though they haven't released the area wise breakdown numbers yet, they are claiming that the buyers of the movie are going to get profits after Sunday. In fact, 'Savaari' is a small budget movie and the makers have sold the rights with just table profits.
Also, Shekar Chandra's music worked out really well and a couple of songs have already become chartbusters. The trailer also created a good impression on the movie. As the digital and satellite rights got added, the producers got into the safe zone. This is a good start for both Nandu and Priyanka Sharma.
