According to recent reports from Times Now, massive development in the death investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput has been noticed. Reportedly, the Supreme Court of India has rejected Rhea Chakraborty
's interim protection plea and Bihar Police is now legally permitted to question the actress in regards to the matter.
SC heard Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking the transfer of an FIR from Patna to Mumbai on Wednesday and immediately refused the protection grant. A single-judge bench of the Supreme Court led by Justice Hrishikesh Roy, with respect to denying the grant protection, said that the allegations are serious and investigation needs to be dug up.
He further added that - Rajput was a talented artist who passed away under unusual circumstances. Now whether there is criminality involved needs to be investigated ... now everyone has an opinion about high profile cases but we will proceed as per law.
It was on July 28 when Sushant's father, KK Singh, lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna claiming that the actress abetted his son Sushant to commit suicide and forcefully kept him house arrest.
Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta also confirms that the centre has accepted the CBI probe request. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has directed the Maharashtra government and the police to file the details of their investigation.
