Shabana Azmi to write a memoir
The veteran actress revealed on Thursday that she is set to write a memoir.
While Shabana Azmi revealed that she will pen down a memoir, she also said that it is too early to discuss it. The actress stated, "I am writing my memoir but it is too early to talk about it.”
She was born to Kaifi Azmi, an Indian poet, and stage actor Shaukat Azmi in 1950 in Hyderabad.
The actress is an alumni of Pune's Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has acted in films such as Ankur, Arth, Khandha, Paar, Godmother, Mandi, Masoom, Fire, and Water.
Not only has she won five National awards but was also honoured with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour of the country, in 1988.
Azmi married to poet and screenwriter Javed Akhtar.
On the professional front, the 69-year-old actress will seen in Sheer Qorma which produced by Steven Spielberg's film production company.
