Shah Rukh Khan has currently taken a break from cinema as he's exploring good scripts. After his last film Zero did not perform well at the box office, the 55-year-old actor has become picky about good scripts. After the 92nd Academic Awards concluded recently, Shah Rukh revealed that he got inspired by two films. "Two Oscar-winning films inspired me to make great cinema, " he said in a video clip. That clip posted by one of his fan pages that asked him about his favorite movies.
The name of the first film that inspired Shah Rukh is Bong Joon Ho's Parasite which won four Oscars this year. Parasite won the awards for Best Movie, Best Screenplay, Best Director and Best International Film. Besides Parasite, Shah Rukh also loved Joker, who's actor Joaquin Phonix won the award for the Best Actor in the leading role.
A few days back, SRK was raving about the film Parasite on his social media handle. He said that he watched the film on his children's recommendation and he loved it. "Just saw Parasite the South Korean movie on my kid's recommendation. What a delightfully discomforting film. A bizarre look at social status, the state of the world...and the parasitic nature of the Materialistic Hope we all feed and live off!!” he tweeted. Meanwhile, SRK's production Red Chillies also brought the script right for the Korean film 'A Hard Day'. The actor might plan on making the Hindi remake of the film soon.
