Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is taking a long break from films. His last film Zero had released in December 2018 and till now, Shah Rukh didn't sign a single film. When asked about this hiatus, Shah Rukh stated that he wants to come up with a hit film this time and thus, he is taking a long gap.
It is being reported from the last few months that Shah Rukh will team up with Tamil director Atlee for his next film. The film almost got confirmed but is yet to go on floors. Now, we hear that the Chak De India actor will also team up with Malayalam director Aashiq Abu for another film. Aashiq Abu is a popular Malayalam director who is best known for his films like 22 Female Kottayam, Maayanadhi and Virus.
Apparently, writer Syam Pushkaran, who worked for films like Kumbalangi Nights, Maayanadhi and Virus, will pen the script for Shah Rukh's film as well. Both Aashiq and Syam Pushkaran met SRK recently. Their picture is now doing rounds on social media. According to the B-Town sources, the filming of this movie begins towards the end of 2020.
