Knowing about our culture and traditions a must for every individual. If we know our roots, we will evolve as better individuals. India is a country which has an ancient culture and ethnicities. We have people from multiple regions. It is important for every person to know about their religion, no matter if they follow it or not.
In order to make the children of this generation know about the Hindu culture and the Mantras, the Chinmaya Mission is holding an event from the 2nd of February to the 5th of February, explaining the importance of Gayatri Mantra. Popular Singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan has posted a video asking everyone to attend the event which brings awareness to our culture.
"The Chinmaya mission is conducting an event teaching us the importance of Gayatri mantra! Feb 2nd - Feb 5th .. 6-8 pm .. Cidco auditorium, CEC Navi Mumbai ..," he tweeted.
As Shankar says it the video, children of this generation should know about our culture. I hope people make an ear to this call and take their kids to this important event. On the career front, Shankar has recently composed music for the film Panga, along with his team members Ehsaan and Loy.
