Sharwanand and Ritu Varma have joined hands for a film titled Kanam, which is directed by Shree and produced by SR Prabhu and Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
In a statement, Sharwanand said, "I have huge respect towards SR. Prabhu Sir And Dream Warriors. So I have been in contact with Prabhu for the past 10 years. He has been introducing great directors through his banner. He is motivating and gives chance to directors to make different stories. Actors like us need producers like him. His company is working like a factory which is continuously producing different stories for us. As I was in touch with Prabhu, it was easy for me to speak Tamil dialogues. Otherwise, it would have taken time to learn. This film appeared to me as the best film. The story of this film is very huge than my intensity.
He added why Amala would be a perfect choice for the film. "When director Shree told me this story, I told him that Amala madam would be the right choice. Amala Madam accepted the role once she heard the story. I learned many things in Tamil. Films like this will come only once in 10 years. I came to know that his love for his mom is the reason he wrote this story. U would know once u watch this film. This film would be great to watch as an Sc-fi Film as well as a mother sentiment film. Director Shree would act and explain each scene. I asked him why he wrote the scene like this. He would say my mom will be like this. He wrote each scene thinking of his mom."
