Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha says comparisons with his sister or father are unfair.

While the trend of nepotism is still strong in Bollywood, not everyone who belongs to a celebrity family makes it big in the film industry. One such person is Luv Sinha who is the son of veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha. Despite making his debut in the same year as his sister Sonakshi Sinha, Luv received little attention from critics or fans and has now stayed away from the limelight.

In a recent interview with Times of India, Luv said that it is not fair to compare him with his sister or father as each of their journeys is very different. Speaking about the success of his sister, Luv said, “In fact, I am grateful that her debut film worked. It meant that she took the legacy forward. I hope I can do the same someday. There can be no comparison between a brother and a sister. Even comparisons with my father would be unfair because his time was different, his journey was different."

Luv also said that Sonakshi has always stayed away from the PR numbers game. He added saying, “I am glad she never got into the PR game of trying to prove she is number one. She delivered some big hits back-to-back and even then she did not proclaim to be number one. One should appreciate that. She is very picky about her work and doesn’t get into the rat race and number games."
