Shivarajkumar not a part of Vikram's film

Kannada actor Shivarajkumar is a big star in the Sandalwood film industry. Recent reports suggest that Shivarajkumar is a part of Chiyaan Vikram's upcoming film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film will have Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram for the first time. It was also reported that Shivarajkumar has been signed on to play the main villain in Vikram's 60th film. The shooting of this untitled film will go on floors in the coming months. More details will be announced by the official team soon.

Shivarajkumar, in a recent interview, announced that he couldn't be a part of the film due to date issues. He also revealed that he was in talks for the film and was impressed with the film's storyline. Since Shivarajkumar has signed several projects, he couldn't sign Karthik Subbaraj's film. In an interview with a popular publication, Karthik Subbaraj said, ""I was actually busy with the post-production work of Jagamae Thanthiram. That's when Vikram sir called me and asked if I could drop in to discuss a new project. He is an extraordinary performer and I always wanted to work with him. We met, discussed a lot of ideas and finally zeroed in on one. He was quite impressed with the plot and that's how Dhruv Vikram came on board. It all happened all of a sudden and I am quite happy about it."
