Shocking: Lawrence's walks out of Akshay Kumar’s film
Within hours after Laaxmi Bomb poster release, films director Raghava Lawrence has made an unexpected shocking announcement. He has announced that he will be walking out of the film as its director. As per the social media post of Lawrence, the makers didn't give him any information to him (director) about the release of first look poster in advance and he got to know the information by some third person. He also stated that he didn’t like the poster which got released. Being an experienced technician and noted director who worked biggest stalwarts in the South, felt absolutely disrespected and immediately took twitter to announced his exit from the remake of his film.
In his two-page statement, he tweeted: "Dear Friends and Fans. In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person's character. So I have decided to step out of the project, #Laxmmibomb Hindi remake of Kanchana".
Lawrence further added: "I can hold back the script because I haven't signed any agreement regarding the film, but I won't do it because it is not professional." So, he's ready to give the script to Akshay Kumar out of his respect for the star hero. However, the makers of Laaxmi Bomb announced the theatrical release date of the film as 5th June 2020. So, it remains to be seen if the makers choose a new Director or they will convince Lawrence to be part of it. As Lawrence said that he will be meeting Akshay Kumar we can also expect some damage control over the issue.
