Shruti Hassan opens up about Vakeel Saab and Salaar
Shruti Hassan resumed her acting career in Tollywood with Ravi Teja's Krack and tasted good success with the action drama. She will next be seen in Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, which is slated for theatrical release on 10th of April. Speaking
Speaking about Vakeel Saab, Shruti Haasan said the film has a strong social message pertaining to women's safety and rights.
"Vakeel Saab has a strong and hard-hitting plot that deals with women's safety in the country. Having a star actor like Pawan Kalyan in the lead role will give the film a great reach among the masses," she said.
The noted actress feels that films with a strong and relevant social message are the need of the hour.
"It took me many years to feel comfortable with acting in films, but I cannot imagine my life without a cinema now. It gives me a chance to express another side of my artistic side," she stated.
When asked about Prabhas's Salaar, Shruti said she is very much excited about the actioner. "I play an action-oriented role in the film. This is the first time I am pairing with Prabhas and we had good fun in the first schedule. I can't wait to be back on sets again."
Salaar has Prashanth Neel at the helm and Hombale Films who previously funded the KGF duology are bankrolling the Prabhas starrer. It is said that the film will be out in theatres later this year.
