Siddharth criticises Tamil Nadu CM Edapadi K Palaniswami

Actor Siddharth, who is presently concentrating much on his upcoming Tamil films, is one of the few celebrities who doesn't shy away from offering his opinions on political matters. While most of the celebrities are keeping mum about all the current issues, Siddharth is a lot different.

Recently, Siddharth took to Twitter to slam Tamil Nadu chief minister Edapadi K Palaniswami as he supported the central government in passing the Citizenship Amendment Bill that had passed in the parliament recently. His timely post on Twitter received a lot of attention appreciating his guts to voice out his opinion on a sensitive issue. His Twitter post reads, "Deeply ashamed that Edapadi Palanisamy represents my state and our people. Supporting the #CAB shows his true colors, his lack of integrity and his desperate need to remain powerful at any cost. You will all be held accountable. Enjoy your temp power till then. #IndiaRejectsCAB. #Jayalalithaa would have never supported #CAB. How the #AIADMK has crashed in its ethos, in her absence! (sic)"
