Silambarasan - GVM Movie Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Steadily Moves To A 50 Crore Weekend

On September 15, Simbu's "Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu" was released in theatres to mostly favourable reviews. The film has also been garnering a lot of praise because it has done a satisfying work from both the director and the actors. The movie's opening day earnings were officially 10 crore rupees, while on Friday, day 2, the movie's box office take was 13 crore rupees.

The movie is currently strong as it approaches the weekend, and it is predicted that in its first week of release, it would earn more than Rs 50 crore. In addition to performing well in Tamil Nadu, the movie also placed within the top 5 in the UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia among the Tamil films released this year.

Simbu, Siddhi Idnani, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Neeraj Madhav all play significant roles in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. A 21-year-old teenager who works as a migrant labourer in Mumbai struggles to make ends meet while dealing with poverty and hunger during the course of the movie. The movie moves along at a sluggish but steady pace, and the plot becomes better as the central character eventually turns into a don.

The film's writer recently disclosed that the plot for the sequel is already written, and he reportedly said that the character Muthu will appear in it as a don who has lost touch with humanity and is a reincarnation of the devil.
