Sivakarthikeyan is riding high on the success of his recent release film Hero, directed by PS Mithran. The film, which exposed the dark side of education, received mixed reviews from the critics and audience. However, many pointed out that the film imparts an important message for the people.
As soon as he wrapped up the shooting of Hero, the actor moved on to his next flick titled Doctor. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film also features actor Vinay, who was last seen in Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan. The film went on floors on December 6, 2019 in the state.
Now, the latest reports suggest that the makers have kickstarted the second schedule in Chennai on January 6. Reportedly, the makers are trying to wrap up the film in a couple of months so that it could release in a grand manner sometime in September during Vinayaka Chathurthi.
The technical crew of Doctor has cinematographer Dilip Karthik Kannan, editor R Nirmal, art director DRK Kiran and stunt choreographer brothers Anbariv. For the first time ever, Sivakarthikeyan will be playing the role of a Doctor in this film.
