Sivakarthikeyan's 'Prince' Will Open On 600+ Screens In Tamil Nadu

The censor board has certified Sivakarthikeyan's 'Prince' for distribution this Friday (Oct 21), and the film has received a 'U' rating. Sivakarthikeyan and his team met with the press yesterday to build anticipation for the film's release. During the conversation, it was disclosed that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Prince' had 600+ screens in Tamil Nadu and the FDFS schedules. 'Prince,' Sivakarthikeyan's first Diwali release, marks the actor's return to the big screen after two 100-crore films. As a result, it will be the actor's biggest release to date, with over 600 screens in Tamil Nadu. 'Prince' will also have early morning specials, and the FDFS will begin at about 5 a.m. on October 21.

With the grand release, Sivakarthikeyan's 'Prince' is expected to be the actor's highest-grossing film on day one. Also, because the film is being released directly in Telugu, and Sivakarthikeyan is making his Tollywood debut, the bilingual may include more songs. 'Prince,' directed by Anudeep, will be a romantic comedy starring Maria Ryaboshapka and Premgi Amaren, with music composed by Thaman.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan has wished Karthi for 'Sardar,' which is also debuting in theatres on the same day, and has encouraged moviegoers to see both films this Diwali. It's worth noting that Karthi previously wished Sivakarthikeyan's 'Sardar' and stated that this Diwali will be about 'Sardar' and 'Prince,' not 'Sardar vs. Prince.' So, when they compete for the second time, Sivakarthikeyan and Karthi will have a healthy box office fight.
