Films have no language barrier and anyone can get the emotion of a film. These days, the viewers are watching all kinds of films with no language restrictions. Thus, we now have a Bengali Film Festival in Hyderabad. This film festival called Telangana Bengali Film Festival Aayna 2019 and it is being hosted by Hyderabad Bangalee Samiti.
The festival kickstarted today and will continue for the next two days. A total of eight films will get screened in the festival, at Prasad Labs, located in Banjara Hills. The evening session of today features two films, Shohobase and Ghare Baire Aaj, which will get screened in two auditoriums of Prasad Labs.
Shohobasey's screening starts at 3.50 pm. It depicts the story of a young couple who shifts to Kolkata from their native small towns. They end up sharing the same flat and how they cope up with the concrete culture of the city forms its story. It is a light-hearted romantic drama.
Gharey Bairy Aaj is the film based on the classic novel of the same name, written by Rabindranath Tagore. It is a triangular love story that depicts passionate love between the individuals and also their clashing ideologies. Both films are critically acclaimed and are expected to get a good reception at the festival.
