Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, and Vikram Prabhu. Now, another starlet has joined this bandwagon. She is a popular Bollywood actress
Sobhita Dhulipala.
Popular for her works in films like Rama Raghav 2.0, Goodachari, Muthoon and web series like Made in Heaven and Bard of Blood, Shobita is one of the promising young actresses in India cinema right now. Apparently, Mani Ratnam has offered her a meaty role in this period drama. This will be Sobitha's debut in Tamil. She already had an experience of acting in Malayalam and Telugu films. In fact, Sobitha is a Telugu girl by birth and also can speak the language fluently. She will be joining the sets of Ponniyin Selvan soon.
Meanwhile, the first schedule of Ponniyin Selvan got wrapped up in Thailand. Mani Ratnam is currently shooting it in Pondicherry forest areas. AR Rahman is composing the music for it. Produced jointly by Lyca Subhaskaran and Mani Ratnam, this film will hit the screens in 2021.
