Just like other Bollywood celebrities, actress Sonali Bendre took to her social media to spread awareness about health. During these tough times when the world is struggling to keep themselves fit and healthy, Sonali has some tips on how one can boost up their immunity. On World Health Day, Sonali shared a 3-step guide that is healthy and easy to follow.
Before sharing the steps, the video read, “Health is not lack of germs, toxins or diseased cells in your body. It is how well your body responds to them. A sturdy immunity builds sturdy health.”The next message tells us “Here is my three-step guide to sturdy immunity. Have done these 3steps every day for 2 years and the result is amazing.”
The first step included the inhalation of steam. Sonali held a steamer in her hands and inhaled steam as she called it the first step of staying healthy. The next step included a glass of hot water. Sonali advises everyone to drink a glass of hot water daily. The third step included a glass of smoothie. The ingredients of the smoothie included cranberries, blueberries, ginger, apricot, amla, almonds, etc.
She further wrote, "Now more than ever before, we truly realize how critical having a strong immunity is. While dealing with cancer, I did a lot of research on ways to boost my immune system. I started this ritual then and it’s become a habit now, my #NewNormal. These steps are pretty simple and have been tried and tested - I managed to avoid infections during my chemo, and I believe that this was the “secret formula”.
