South actress Ramya Nambessan gives a strong message with her directorial short film Unhide

Popular Tamil and Malayalam actress Ramya Nambessan rolled out her new Youtube channel called Ramya Nambessan Encore. Recently, she made a short film for this channel, called Unhide, which deals with the atrocities faced by women in society. Ramya says that she didn't start the channel to express her art but to be more responsible through her art.

 
Unhide is a short film of three minutes' duration. Ramya is the one who conceptualized and directed the film. Badri Venkatesh has penned the dialogues. Ramya and Sshritha Shivadas have played the lead roles in it. The film goes with the narration given by Ramya on how women are getting affected by the perversion of men in the present society. She questions that can't a woman wear what she likes or be the way she likes to be. Ramya gives a strong message that consent from a woman is the basic need for everything.
 
Even though it spans for only three minutes, Ramya managed to convey everything in precise, complimented by stunning visuals of Neil Dcunha. The video is currently going viral on social media and surpassed 1.8 lakh views in less than 48 hours. On the film front, Ramya was last seen in the Malayalam thriller Anjaam Paathira.
