'South Indian Actors are being neglected,' says Ram Charan's wife

We already know that some stars from the Bollywood film fraternity recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 19 as part of the 'Change Within' initiative.

Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, etc. participated in the meet and discussed the initiatives on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary. On this note, Ram Charan's wife Upasana Kamineni who felt that the South film industry and the South Indian stars were completely neglected expressed her pain on social media. Sharing a photo of PM Narendra Modi with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Upasana wrote, "Dearest @narendramodi Ji. We in the South of India admire you & are proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect, we felt that the representation of Leading personalities & cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and The South Film Industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain & hope it’s taken in the right spirit. Jai Hind". The netizens also agree with her on this and are commenting that it is unfortunate to see the South Indian actors getting sidelined.
However, on the other hand, Tollywood record-breaking project 'Baahubali' became the only non-English film to be played at Royal Albert Hall in London.
