Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni are the two superstar heroines of South India and also the actresses who can score blockbusters with female-oriented films as well. While Nayan enjoys a wide fanbase in Tamil Nadu, Samantha has a super following in the Telugu states. Now, these two-star actresses are joining hands together for the film called Kathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. What makes it more exciting is star hero Vijay Sethupathi is the lead in it.
This is the first film in the combination of Nayanthara and Samantha. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara have earlier acted together in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Samantha and Sethupathi were part of the film Super Deluxe, but they didn't have any combination scenes in that anthology flick. Thus, this is technically the first film between them.
Kathavaakula Rendu Kaadhal is being directed by Vignesh Shivan of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan fame. The makers have announced the film with a special teaser today. The makers promoted it as a clash between Samantha and Nayanthara for Vijay Sethpathi. Thus, it seems like we are in for a thrilling ride of a triangular love story. Happening music director Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it. More details on the shoot launch will be out soon.
